Blockstep Quilt Pattern - Robin Pickens

Blockstep is a pattern that plays with the geometry of squares by splitting and rotating them. A Layer Cake (or 2 for Queen size) of prints mix with 3 solid colors (I used Thatched!) Some blocks step out into the borders. Blockstep is shown using Carolina Lilies by Robin Pickens for Moda Fabrics. Pattern can also be made using a Jellyroll instead of Layer Cake.
