Hilde Hat - Decades of Style Pattern Company

The Hilde Hat is a wide brimmed, fully lined, adjustable fit sun hat. A drawstring in the hat band allows for tightening the fit. Low loft batting and stitching combine to make a perfectly cooperative brim. The pattern includes 4 sizes for head measurements 21" to 24". Look stylish while protecting yourself from UV rays!

SUGGESTED FABRICS: Light or Mid-weight canvas. Avoid very heavy or bulky fabrics. Brim requires Pellon 987F (fusible fleece) and 911FF (featherweight fusible interfacing.) Quilt cotton for hat lining.

• 1 1/4 yard soft cording for drawstring (1/4" or smaller diameter)
• You can substitute ribbon or double fold bias tape for cording; only the bow at the center back will be visible.
