Introduction to Embroidery with Bella in Lansing

You will leave this session with a completed embroidery sampler to be able to use as a reference to the eight stitches we will cover in the lesson. These stitches include straight stitch, back stitch, fishbone, fly, split, satin, running, criss cross, and french knots.These stitch techniques can be used in a variety of applications/methods including for decorative purposes or functionality. Use the back stitch to close up that hole on your sleeve with visible mending! Or use the fly stitch to add a beautiful border to your favorite bag! Apply satin or fishbone stitches to make lovely images that can be collaged into intricate works of art. No prior experience needed, come join the circle and open yourself up to new experiences!
