Introduction to Walking Foot Quilting

Come explore walking foot quilting with Emile!

Students in this class will get a taste of straight line quilting with a walking foot or Integrated Dual Feed. They will complete mini quilting samples in easy-to-accomplish popular designs that work with a variety of traditional pieced quilt designs and begin an 18x18 cushion cover in their choice of quilted designs. Emile will cover how to prep the fabric and sandwich a quilt specifically for domestic machine quilting and reveal all the tips and tricks they use for walking foot quilting on larger projects. Experience level: intermediate/advanced sewists welcome, bring your own machine and compatible walking foot. Don't have a walking foot yet?
