T-shirt Applique with Emma

Looking to add some of your personality to your wardrobe? Join Emma and learn how to use appliqué to cover logos or add some character to a plain shirt. 

In this two-hour class, you will use printed graphics as templates to cut your fabric, apply interfacing, and appliqué them to your shirt. 

You will leave class with a new design on your shirt, and the knowledge to take this skill home to your sewing room!

Skill level:

• Confident Beginner 
• Intermediate

What to bring to class:

• A t-shirt or sweatshirt with a small logo or graphic you want to cover. (We will not have the supplies for covering large designs in class) Or a plain shirt that you want to add something to. 

Skills learned in class:

• Applique stitches
• Interfacing skills (wonder under)
• Working with knits
• Ideal placement

This class is open to students ages 14 and up. Younger students are also welcome as long as they are co-enrolled with an adult who is available to help them during class.

If your schedule changes and you are no longer available to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. We will provide a full refund or transfer to a different class date up to 5 days ahead of the scheduled class. 4
